It was in the year 1954 that Sri D.R. Pandurang Setty was inspired by the wonderful world of nature, its beauty and the heavenly fragrances of our ancient and traditional motherland. His inborn instincts of permutation and combination to bring out exclusive and exotic perfumes prompted him to share his joys with the world. His dream turned into reality with the incorporation of Padma Perfumery Works in Bangalore, the heart of the agarbatti manufacturing industry in India.
